SUSTAINABILITY AND MADE IN ITALY

Sustainability as an increasingly green Italian fashion revolution

From regenerated cotton to hemp. From bamboo fiber to production waste. Everything becomes green fabric. Italian fashion Made in Italy is increasingly giving its best in terms of sustainability. This happens because, from the volumes of textile processing waste, we realized the large amount of unused material that comes out.

The benefits derived from it are manifold. By saving non-renewable energies (such as water). The almost non-use of chemical products used in dyes: a real well-being both for the fabric, which remains pure, and for the skin of the consumers, who increasingly appreciate the quality of the garments themselves.

Italian brands and sustainability

More and more are the sustainable Italian brands. As well as the textile workshops scattered throughout our beautiful peninsula that act as a buttress. Companies of our Made in Italy made of craftsmanship. Who have always spoken the language of fashion and who now, more than ever, are paying particular attention to sustainability, embracing the circular economy.

Circularity Sustainability and Made in Italy

Productions, with an ever lower environmental impact. Use of the highest quality regenerated, recycled or organic fabrics. A real virtuous circle that does not neglect innovative and fashionable prints, colors in step with the latest trends, creating beautiful garments and products that know of durability.
It takes very little to create beauty. Even less so as not to harm it: this is what is becoming a philosophy of life.

From the socks of Arturo Stories, which teach how the art of “mending is definitely better than trashing”; to companies such as Rifò, in the Prato area, which regenerates cashmere by producing sweaters, gloves, scarves, hats using only local artisans. Up to Par.Co Denim, with its sustainable Made in Italy jeans. Everything is sustainability.

And again with the “ Gaia Segattini Knotwear ” brand, which is writing the history of a totally Marche-based Made in Italy (as its label says in honor of its totally Marche-based production chain Made in Marche with Pride. Be your own moodboard). A story, her own. Which tells how sweaters and hats are born from unused production yarns come to life following what is the basis of the rules of the circular economy.

Because, limiting waste means pushing future generations more and more to a rigorous education on what must be protected and preserved a precious common good, that is our country.
